Union Officers
We are governed by an Executive Board composed of thirteen members selected in accord with Article Six of our Constitution. Current officers are:

President:
Ed Conway
Ed is in his second term as President after having been our Treasurer previously. He also served for several years as a Steward in the Stamford-Norwalk area. Ed is a Chief Probation Officer currently assigned to the Norwalk office. In his leisure time, he is active in American Legion baseball in the Fairfield area. 
Vice-President: Tom O'Neil
Tom was reelected in this year's general election. He had previously held office as a Representative of the Adult Probation Officer class and served as a Steward in the Hartford area. Tom is an Adult Probation Officer II in Hartford.
Secretary : Geoff Gagnon
A Juvenile Matters Supervisor in Willimantic, Geoff is a veteran of many years service on our Executive Board. He is especially interested in information technology matters and has become a valuable resource for us in that area.
Treasurer: Colin O’Neill
Colin, a Support Enforcement Officer in Hartford, is in his second  term as Treasurer after having served previously as both President and Support Enforcement Officer Representative. His experience also includes service on the contract negotiating team as well as several Labor-Management Advisory committees. As a working state employee, he understands the pressures our members endure on a regular basis. Colin’s leisure time interests include politics and Irish history.
Representative: Deborah Kern
Deb represents the Family Relations counselor job class after having been elected in the 2009 general election. She is currently assigned to the New Haven Family Matters office.
Representative: Heriberto Cruz
Heriberto (his friends call him Eddie), a veteran Steward,was recently elected to his first term as Representative-Chief/Lead Probation Officers. He is assigned to the Hartford Adult Supervision office. He looks forward to bringing the concerns of his constituents forward in the labor representation process.
Representative: Joe Quinn
Joe is an Adult Probation Officer assigned to the New Haven office. He is serving his second term as a Representative of the Adult Probation Officer class.
Representative: Dan Petrosky
Dan, an Adult Probation Officer in Waterbury, is also serving his second term as a Representative of the Adult Probation Officer class.
Representative: John Satti
A first time Board member, John represents the Juvenile Probation Officer class. He is assigned to the Waterford office.
Representative: Kim McKeon
Kim returns to her position as Representative-All Other Classes. In that capacity, she has the formidable task of representing all of the job classes not specifically designated for Board representation. Kim served in her present capacity on previous Boards and will undoubtedly call on her experience in carrying out her duties. Kim is a Public Defender Social Worker currently assigned to Whiting Forensic Institute in Middletown.
Representative: Tara Bartlett
Tara was recently elected to her first term as Representative of the JD Assistant Clerk class. She succeeds Bob Axelrod and Steve Santoro in a seat which had been vacant for two years. Tara is assigned to the New Haven JD Court.
Representative: Terry Ward
Also a newly elected Board member, Terry represents the Support Enforcement Officer class. He works at the New Haven Support Enforcement office.
The position of Representative  – Family/ Support Supervisors is  vacant at this time.
